Guided surgery
Computer guided surgery is an innovative and minimally invasive technique in the field of implantology that allows implant placement with extreme precision.
In fact, thanks to a 3D planning software, it is possible to reconstruct in detail the patient’s arch from the reading of the preoperative CT to evaluate the state of the bone, soft tissues and the relationships with adjacent structures. A virtual intervention is then simulated step by step, from the implant positioning inside the bone to its restoration until the display of the final result.
Finally, through the use of an individualized template it is possible to transfer in a very precise way this virtual surgery in a real atraumatic and micro-invasive surgery.
In addition, a temporary prosthesis will be made in the laboratory to be placed immediately after the intervention. This process will reduce the discomfort of the patient and the time of the therapy.
